The Astute Mover's Advantage is a tool developed by astutemoving.com to ensure that you
get the best removal that you can from your removalist.
It is based on the premise that every company or sole trader has the extra incentive to perform
at their highest standard when the quality of their work is placed in the public domain. It is
human nature, that if a removal company has two removals on the same day then they will
send their best removalists to the removal where their performance can be seen by other
people who are moving. Good work will reward your removalist with increased opportunities
for work because other people who are moving will see how you rated your removalist on
the astutemoving.com website. The principle is the same as you informing your removalist
that your friend is moving in a month's time and if they do a good job then you will refer
them. The power of the Internet now means that you have a lot of friends while you remain
anonymous so that the rewards for the removalists can be much greater if they do a good job.
The Astute Movers Advantage is a three-part process. The removalist is informed that their
performance will be rated using an online questionnaire via a standard e-mail or letter which
you generate on the astutemoving.com website after completing the relevant details. After
your removal has been completed, you complete the online survey and hit the submit button
Step 1. Enter your details.
You need to put in your removal details first. This includes your personal removal details and
the removalists' contact details.
Step 2. Inform your removalits.
So that the removal companies know that their performance will be monitored, you will
have to submit the following e-mail at least two days before the removal is commenced.
The completed e-mail can also be printed in letter form which allows you to post it to your
removalist if they do not have e-mail. If you are advising your removalist via letter then it
will need to be printed and posted five days before the removal is commenced.
Step 3. Rate your removal.
You complete the online questionnaire about your removalist's performance. The ratings
for your removal which are automatically calculated by astutemoving.com are placed
temporarily into the public domain on astutemoving.com's Recent Removalist Performance
TAB and then into the Astute Movers Database of Removalists for one year after which the
result will be deleted. Each section of the removal company's performance is given a smiley
face rating of 0 to 5 with the removal given an overall rating of 1 to 5 smiley faces.
